I HAVE SO MANY THOUGHTS ABOUT WHAT KIND OF DADDY TONY WOULD BE. So many feels, omg.
I think, despite what he probably thinks himself, he’d be a really good parent. He would spoil his kid like crazy, though. I think he’d be a horrible disciplinarian, just because he could not bear to see his kid unhappy. Kid is crying? OMG QUICK BUY THEM ALL THE PONIES!!1
Because Tony, of course, is horribly scarred by his own childhood, and remembers what it was like to feel unloved and unwanted, and to be constantly denied the things he enjoyed and the things he wanted most, to have his accomplishments constantly torn to pieces and spat upon, so he’d be hyper-vigilant about making sure his kid never feels neglected or unhappy or bad about themselves, or anything.
Which means, of course, that if the kid misbehaved and Tony had to, you know, deny them dessert or something, and then the kid sadfaced and looked guilty, Tony would be like, OMG, NEVER MIND, HERE HAVE ALL THE ICE CREAM AND ALSO MORE PONIES. D:
